UK National Team
The UK National Team was formed in 1988, and is the flagship of the BAA. The latest developments in competition are practiced and in turn taken back to the Clubs. To become a squad member takes determination, dedication and skill, to name but a few qualities. Within this there is the UK National Squad which consists of 12 members and who are the elite of the BAA National Team. Competition to be selected for the UK National Squad is very high and those selected have proven themselves to be the very best.
There is an open invitation to all competitive Aikidoka from 2nd Kyu (Blue Belt) and above to attend squad sessions whether or not you want to compete for a place on the squad or not. You will come away from squad sessions with a better understanding of Randori and a lot of high level technique and tips.
